Amalgam Contest #108 Ghost the X

Hey everyone, here is a concept I have been wanting to do for a bit. Amalgamation of Ghost Rider

There has been a couple versions of the Ghost Rider, so feel free to pick your favourite, Blaze, Ketch, 2099.

And then mash him up with your favourite X-Men.

There has been so many, I can't even list them all. But it allows everyone a nice open field to play with.

Deadline is .... Ah lets make it Halloween, Saturday Oct 31.

Also, I love the idea. I've already gotten a mashup in mind. Though it's a pretty obvious choice so if too many others go for it, I may need a backup. In any event, this one sounds great! Cheers!

Thanks ZZoMBiE13, and ya I know the feeling, I have my characters picked out too but I am sure someone else will do them too. Then again there is no harm in that, even if someone does the same characters it's nice to see the variations people take on them. Not to mention all the costume changes these characters have gone through. I mean how many costumes has Rogue or Cyclops had?

I've done so many concepts with this over the years, the O5 as Riders, Wolverine, Professor X, Nightcrawler, Cannonball is my idea for this, ohh goody...

As long as we're sharing, is anyone else considering making a Cyclops Rider?

I wouldn't be able to participate, but I will photo-edit one myself. Not for this, though.

@decept_o: Thank you, I have to say I am really thrilled to see everyone enjoying it, and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.

Seems to me the only thing that would change is maybe the vehicle.

@zzombie13: Since you said it is a first sketch, I feel better about lending my advice here and not over stepping my bounds..He still looks a bit to much like Ghost Rider and not enough Cyke in the design. But dang it, for not being a kick ass combo though..!!

@mrfuzzynutz@zzombie13 What's needed is a hella-visual X-Man to make it stand out. That's why my two main picks are Archangel and Nightcrawler. Would love to see somebody give these a shot.

@uncanny_xfactor: yeah, I agree with ya, Some like Northstar just won't work..Iceman, or Sunfire perhaps..I got my guy in mind, but not sure if he graduated to the X-men though...

I don't know, I think Northstar would make for a good Ghost Rider, star's embroidered on the leather jacket, no need for a bike, just a trail of fire and smoke behind him as he rushed to judge the guilty. As for if he graduated to X-men or not, go with "yes he/she did" There has been so many variations of the Xmen and members that have joined for a short run and moved on, so "x-babies" count too.

oh and long live Alpha Flight

I agree with Arden, Northstar could actually be interesting. But yeah, the X-Men are so fluid just go for it. :)

I jez thought of the perfect one. Professor X + Ghost Rider = Hell on Wheelz. in his Flaming wheelchair chasing after wayward souls on the wheel chair ramps in the city of the damned..

Night Rider: Ghost Rider (Reyes) + Night Rider

Penance: Ghost Rider (Blaze) + Cyclops

Spirit of Vengeance: Ghost Rider (Ketch) + Wolverine

Stormrider: Ghost Rider (Jones) + Storm

If somebody does a Nightcrawler Ghost Rider, PLEASE call it Night Rider. XD

Honestly, the one I am working on now. Favorite Ghost Rider + one of my least favorite X-Men (not Gambit who is my least favorite X-Man).

Everyone is doing such a great job, have to get my act together and put something in myself

Yeah, when I make an Amalgam I like to start with one character and blend in the other. But thanks just the same.

Sadly, I'm not going to have time to finish this one. I've worked on it a bit but I just don't like where it ended up. Good luck to all who do enter though. Some great stuff in this contest! :)
