A rough Red X sketch...

This is my first CV work so... Be merciful please.

Any rational criticism will be gladly accepted)

EDIT:

Added two Photoshop versions. What do you people think? Wich of those should I keep, or would it be better to continue the work?

Again thanks, glad you people like it. I need to practice my skills though. Especially in inking and colouring (Photoshop style). So you can wait for more quite soon I think)

As you asked for rational criticism, maybe I'm looking at it wrong because of the cape, but perhaps his head is a little high up/off centre?

@v_scarlotte_rose: I will give it a try and ink the drawing anyway. Though time will show if my results will be demonstration-worthy... I'm sorta afraid to ruin it)

As for the head, It's hard to tell because of the cape (as you said). Maybe it is too high. I'l pay more attention to proportions further)

I wouldn`t wanna see him in comics. Unless, of course, they`d be directly tied to the cartoon. Because, I really wouldn`t wanna see Red X chop someone in half. Or laugh sadistically when he blows up a baby. Or be easily killed by a bigger villain than him. Or somethin`. Maybe he wouldn`t, in the beginning of his career. But it would be inevitable.

I thought he was Jason Todd?

@kfhrfdu_89_76k: A particular reinvention so that he would fit right would be nice. TT is closed a few years by now, so a cartoon tie-in is very unlikely. Plus from what I know, he's an anti-hero. A thief. So you can be sure he ain't gonna blow up any baby's)

Looks urban. Also, it does look better with darker, stronger lines. Though, the faint lines made him look more ghostly. Given that he has the power of invisibility, that`s a good touch.
