Origin and history
Mutant Liberation Front
Forearm has been a loyal member of the Mutant Liberation Front since the beginning and has participated in every adventure with the group. As a member of the MLF, Forearm has come into conflict with numerous members of X-Force, X-Factor and the X-Men. Forearm is a fierce warrior but tends to disapprove with the murder of innocent people compared to some of his more ruthless teammates. He has reminded some teammates, such as occasional leader Wildside that the killing of civilians or guards is not necessary regardless of the cause for the Front. Forearm appears at times to have heart but tends to follow the wrong people and chooses to associate himself with bad company.
Friendship with Moonstar
Forearm would start a friendship with Dani Moonstar when she joined the group but would feel betrayed after he learns that she had infiltrated the group on behalf of the government agency S.H.I.E.L.D.. The betrayal does not hinder his occasional heroic behavior when he teams up with X-Force to stop Operation: Zero Tolerance agents and the rest of the Mutant Liberation Front from killing each other. Moonstar offers him sanctuary among X-Force, but still hurt he refuses her offer.
Forearm would not be seen for a long time after the group disbanded until he participated in a deadly, fighting tournament called the Bloodsport in Madripoor. Forearm would participate in a strap match with Anaconda of the Serpent Society and appears to have been killed when she snaps his neck.
It is unknown if he survived his injuries as a four-armed mutant has been spotted on several occasions around the mutant haven Utopia.
Forearm was created by Louise Simonson and Rob Liefeld in 1990 and first appeared in New Mutants # 86.
Powers and abilities
Forearm is a mutant whose powers give him four arms (two pairs, one on each side of his body) as welll as allowing him to possess superhuman strength, durability and resistance to injury, which often pitted him to compete with Thunderbird when fighting against X-Force.
