Zordon is a interdimensional being trapped in a time warp by Rita Repulsa. Zordon protects the Rangers and informs the Rangers on several monsters and villains out there. The Rangers become closer to one another forming a close bond with each other and especially Zordon. To some Zordon is a like a father figure.
Keeping a close eye on Rita, Zordon knew that once she had escaped that she would attempt to destroy Earth. As a result Zordon told Alpha to summon five teenagers that are over bearing, overemotional, with an attitude. Zordon choose Kimberly, Trini, Billy, Jason, and Zack which would later become the first Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. But it wasn't up until they had won the fight against Rita that they were officially Power Rangers. The Power Rangers had three rules to follow:
- They must never tell anybody that they are Power Rangers
- Never use your power for personal gain
- Never escalate a fight unless Rita forces you to
Rita being determined to destroy Zordon creates a Green Power Ranger. She sends him to destroy the Command Center. Zordon knowing whats about to happen tells Alpha 5 to recharge up until the point the Green Power Ranger comes to the Command Center.
Zordon realized that Rita was using a Ranger to stop the Power Rangers, but he ended up disconnected from this dimension by the Green Ranger. Alpha 5 and Billy tried various ways to bring Zordon back but every attempt failed. Zordon would try to warn the Rangers about the Green Ranger but he would disappear. When Alpha 5 was finally able to bring back Zordon, Zordon informed the Rangers about the Green Power Ranger and told them in order to return Tommy(green ranger) back to normal they must destroy the Sword of Darkness. Only then will Tommy become good again.
Zordon already knew that he would return Tommy back to good and with an open welcome Zordon lets Tommy join the Power Rangers. Tommy will soon give up his power coin to Jason because he never wants Rita to gain control of the power. This would now make the Rangers a 5 member team again.
Power Rangers in Space
Throughout this season of Power Rangers, Andros and the rest of the Space Rangers were seeking to find Zordon, when Andros learned of Zordons location, he went to go and save him during a great battle that was currently taking place. Leading to more on the losing side, Zordon had convinced Andros to sacrifice him to save all of the universe from evil, and in doing so Andros struck Zordon's holding place and unleashed an energy wave of good. Thus ending the great battle.

Mighty Morphin Power Ranger: The Movie
In the first film of the Power Rangers franchise, the inter-dimensional being still remains in his holding chamber. When Ivan Ooze attacks the base, he destroys the chamber that Zordon is being held in. And therefore, the Rangers lose the ability to morph. Him and Alpha 5 send the ranger to a world in search of the new power coins to regain their ability to morph. While being gone, Zordon is slowly losing his lifeforce without his holding chamber. At the end of the movie when the rangers beat Ivan Ooze, they go back to the Command Center and use their power to rebuild the Command Center and Zordon's holding chamber.
Power Rangers: Turbo The Movie
In this second film of the Power Rangers franchise, Zordon remains in his holding chamber. He sends the rangers on a mission to stop Divatox, after giving the Rangers new powers and abilities as well as new Zords.
Power Rangers (2017)
In this movie Zordon is portrayed by Bryan Cranston. Zordon was the leader of the Power Rangers, he was the Red Power Ranger, and was betrayed by Rita Repulsa, the Green Power Ranger. He sacrificed himself to take down Rita, after having lost the rest of his team, by bringing his spaceship down and crashing into both him and Rita. Later in the movie we learn that Alpha 5 had integrated Zordon's life force into the ship.

Power Rangers: Legacy Wars (2017)
Game Bio: In the Eltarian invasion of Earth, Zartus destroyed Zordon's containment tube, leaving his mind fragmented and lost in his memories. The Blue Emissary along with Billy got mixed up in his memories, appearing in front of a young Zordon explaining the situation. After taking his adult form and blaming himself he decides to help but is worried because the containment tube was broken. Billy helps him so he can fight and get back to Earth
