After France surrendered to Nazi Germany, Captain Loop Logan flies his French plane across the waters to offer his services to England. Wings Johnson correctly thinks the plane must be his old friend Loop. After landing, they exchange familiar pleasantries, Loop addressing Wings Johnson as "you old sky-raiding eagle!" Wings returns "Loop Logan! You old son of the states!"
Captain Logan offers his service to the Commanding Officer, who immediately sends Loop to check on Air Base 22. Flying over British Mechanized Forces, Loop lands at the bombed-out, abandoned airbase. Logan soon sees planes dropping Italian Parachute Troops. He gets a sergeant's hat from one of the parachute troops he waylays. He upgrades to a captain's hat in the next landing. He tells the troops that the British are wearing Italian uniforms and to be prepared to shoot them. After utilizing disinformation, Captain Logan sees the British forces arrive to round up the remaining Axis forces.
