Roth was one of the people who worked with Microchip to bring in the Punisher. He was partners with Kathryn O'Brien. After Micro captures the Punisher a old man talks to the press about Frank Castle being captured. Roth is sent to talk to the old man but he is met by mobsters who were also looking for the Punisher. In order to get information, one of the mobsers cuts off his testicles. He is rushed to a hospital by O'Brien when she finds him.
Roth is later seen living in a apartment when O'Brien goes to stay with him after escaping from prison. Roth is murdered by Kathryn's ex husband.
