Wan Sandage

Six years old at the time of Boonta, he was well past middle age and desperately wanted to eliminate Sebulba before succumbing to senility at age nine. Many Devlikks were active on the Podracing circuit, but all were female, Sandage was the only male Devlikk to race in more than thirty generations. All Devlikks possess an inherent attunement to the magnetic poles of Ord Radama and can never be lost in its labyrinthine cities. On Tatooine, however, Sandage couldn't rely on his magnetic sense and was easily disoriented. He learned the twists and turns of the Boonta only thought relentless practice runs in his Elsinore-Cordova TurboDyne 99-U.
