Classic stories in verse last edited by tinyirnfist0 on 09/11/23 04:25PM View full history

The entire series of Disney Good Housekeeping pages appears complete, uncut, and reproduced wherever possible from the original art. There are more than 120 classic cartoon adaptations in all, including one that was shelved in the 1940s and never published until now!

In addition to the GH pages themselves, Mickey And The Gang features analysis, rare storyboard sketches, animation drawings, and press kits that visually trace each film through development (as far as it went - some never ended up being completed or released!). Featured are copious quantities of production art by Carl Barks, Walt Kelly, Albert Hurter, Frank Tashlin and others.

Each GH page is supplemented in Mickey and the Gang by other spin-offs derived from its source cartoon. These spin-offs include large helpings of Floyd Gottfredson and Al Taliaferro comics, fascinating prose and gag panel selections from super-rare issues of Mickey Mouse Magazine, and classic storybook reprints by Margaret Wise Brown and Jean Ayer.

    360 pages.
