While visiting Frost's school, the New Mutants find themselves facing a new super-powered team of mutants! Are they villains -- or are they heroes? One thing's for certain-- they're not your typical bunch of preppies!
The New Mutants are attacked by Hellfire Club goons, but Magma causes an earthquake and Illyana teleports them away to a storeroom. They capture and interrogate two goons, Dani using her power to manifest their greatest fear and then questioning the morality of doing so. Amara and Sam knock out the electricity. Roberto and Rahne are downed by Thunderbird and Roulette; Illyana and Dani are attacked by Catseye and Tarot. Then Sam and Amara are attacked by Empath and Jetstream and defeat them. This is the introduction of the Hellions.
