OverviewNot much is known about the grey other then the fact that it is the natural force of Mycos similar to how The Green is the natural force of plant life or The Rot is the natural force of death and decay. The reason for the grey being so shrouded in mystery is that it has been mostly dormant for a very long time. When Alec Holland borrowed the body of the current avatar of the grey (who has spent at least most of the last several hundred centuries in human form via the powers of the Sureen) he noted that the grey seemed to be reaching out for him in a desperate loneliness with no former avatars or a parliament having been around for a very long time.
