    This Elseworlds tale of DC's first generation of heroes continues as Green Lantern, Johnny Quick, Starman and Hourman find personal and political pressures tempting them to become super-heroes again. Meanwhile, the Americommando uses his power and influence to create the first super-hero for the Atomic Age. And Paul Kirk, the former Manhunter, finds both an ally and his old skills returning as he continues to battle a faceless legion of pursuers.
