    DC merged genres with this occult - gothic romance anthology edited by Dorothy Woolfolk and Ethan Mordden. The first issue, drawn by Tony DeZuniga, followed a woman's investigation into a friend's death as she uncovered sinister spousal secrets and an alarming number of murdered in laws hidden throughout her marital mansion. Sadly there just wasn't enough love for the series or "The Sinister House of Secret Love" its companion title that debuted a month later. The honeymoon lasted only three years for both series.

    The numbering continued into Forbidden Tales of Dark Mansion with issue #5.
