After a couple of glorious months working for the Beyond Corporation as SPider-Man, everything is falling apart for Ben Reilly. The leader of the Beyond Corporation's super hero program (and Ben's boss), Maxine Danger, has been messing with Ben's memories and Ben discovered that Beyond has a super villain program on Staten Island.
Ben and Peter teamed up with Misty Knight and Colleen Wing to shut down the super villain program's headquarters. Driven by revenge, Ben wasn't satisfied with taking out a single facility and set his sights on Beyond's head. To prevent Peter and his friends from getting in the way, Ben opened the mysterious Door Z and unleashed Beyond's ultimate horror on them.
