All across the world, those with a primal connection to the forces of life and death can feel that something is very wrong. The war between The Green andThe Other has begun, and the knights of decay walk the Earth unchecked – but without Alec Holland, the Green has no champion strong enough to fight back!

In a small diner in Western Texas, William Arcane walks in and orders a milkshake. When the waiter get the order wrong William kills everyone in the restaurant. Later Abby and Alec arrive to see the horror left in William's wake. They leave the diner and find a spot to sleep. Here Alec has a premonition of something being built by the Rot. He is also contacted by the Parliament of Trees where they try to convince I'm that he needs to embrace and become Swamp Thing.

The Parliament explains that they have always fought the Rot over the entire existence of the Earth. They tell Alec that the Swamp Thing is a warrior, an avatar used to represent the whole of the Green. They also warn him of Abigail and actually insist he kill her. When they awake Abby wants to leave and search for William on her own but Alec insists that he come with her as payment for saving his life.

    Dinosaur Swamp Thing! 0

I’ve said this a hundred times but I’ll say it again this series is consistent with both art and story and is my favourite of the New 52 I haven’t read a lot but from what I have read this is my personal favourite more people should buy the series and I’ll be sad when Scott Snyder leaves.PlotWilliam Arcane after escaping from the hospital goes to a diner after the owner gets the milkshake he wants wrong he kills everyone. Alec and Abby start to sleep but the Parliament of trees talk to him in hi...

    4 Leaf Clover 0

Four issues into  Scott Snyder and Marco Rudy and things have continued to be amazing. How does this creative team take on issue #4?  THE GOOD: The art is really, really good. It's has a lot of detail and is just smooth. it gives the characters all something to them that makes them seem different. It also makes the backgrounds really interesting. In this issue we get to learn a little more about the 'Rot' and a lot about the Parliament of Trees. Scott Snyder knows how to write a good story and h...

    MARCO RUDY EVERYBODY! 0

The Good: Yannick Paquette gives us another damn good cover. Creepy as hell, dark and hauntingly empty, and with that little touch of a border that always makes the covers. Oh my god YES. Nothing at ALL again Yanick Paquette, but this issue we have MARCO RUDY. This man is second ONLY to J.H. Williams III when it comes to panel layouts. Rudy is a MASTER of these. Though his actual artwork isn't anything ridiculously remarkable, it is still VERY good overall, and reaches levels of mastery through ...
