Superman (Superman vs John Achilles / written by Edmond Hamilton) A man who claims to be a descendant of the ancient hero Achilles arrives in Metropolis. he has bathed in a chemical that makes him invulnerable except his right foot, just like his ancestor. he wears a steel boot to protect that foot. he takes over a gang and causes trouble but eventually drowns, wayed down by his steel boot.
