    I've been a very harsh critic of the New 52 Suicide Squad, partly because of what the did to Amanda Waller, but mostly because it just hasn't been very good. Occasional issues were actually all right, but plenty more were just awful. Not quite as much as Green Arrow, but this series was still far overdue for a creative team change. Lo and behold, this issue marks that change, and like Green Arrow, the new team has completely turned this series around in a single issue with a different and atmos...

    Ales Kot takes over the Squad this month and quite frankly I know nothing about him. I've heard good things so we shall see if he can turn around this lackluster book. This issue is an exercise for Amanda Waller to see how much it takes to psychologically break her team. She puts a few of them through the mental ringer to test their mettle. The results are unpredictable and pretty entertaining. We also see new team members in the form of Cheetah and Unknown Soldier and a surprise member. I think...

    ***SPOILER FREE REVIEW***I wasn't sure what to expect from the new Suicide Squad creative team, as I had never read a comic produced by either writer Ales Kot (Change) or writer Partick Zircher (Cable & Deadpool, Shadowman).
