Stalax was a Captain of the royal guard of Crystalium although his promotion to the rank was fairly recent at the beginning of the series. He was younger than his colleagues in the guard. He was loyal to Moltar and looked up to his prince. Until the day his hero swore loyalty to Chaos. Stalax switched sides towards Crystar and was transformed to a Crystal Man.
He had enhanced strength and durability and no longer needed to eat, drink or breathe. He wielded a broadsword in combat. Stalax was shorter than the average Crystalim man but made up for it in ferocity.
