Joshua was born in the 50's and inherited the powers of his father Langford Terrill, the Ray. The Ray made Joshua his sidekick Spitfire. However it soon became apparent that Spitfire had serious emotional problems, and used his powers on his own mother during a tantrum, killing her. Ray then had Spitfire placed in cryogenic stasis, untill he was recently freed. Joshua is a 50 year old but has the mind and body of an eight year old.
