Is this the last stand of the eclectic science heroes known as the Troubleshooters? With Jenny facing a murder wrap, the Troubleshooters are left to fend for themselves against the gun totting madman known as Steel Hawk.

    Synopsis

After the failure of his attempted murder of the English Prime Minister, the mercenary known as Steel Hawk decided to return home, in order to study his failure in greater detail. Upon his arrival, he discovered the place to be a total wreck, with a vagrant hiding out inside. After interrogating the bum, Steel Hawk discovered who had wrecked his home: the Troubleshooters!

Meanwhile, at Jenny's Boston townhouse, the five Troubleshooters showed up to tell Jenny that they were giving up their M.A.X. technology, since it was getting a bit too hot for them. Jenny was more than happy to hear this, as she'd been worrying about them getting hurt playing 'hero' for quite a while, and told them so.

The next day, Steel Hawk presented the video of his failure to destroy Thatcher to the Club bigwigs, showing them what video analysis revealed about his enemies: that they were the Troubleshooters, so-called minions of Jenny Swensen. As the Club had wanted her dead for some time now, they authorized Steel Hawk's new mission of eliminating them.

Later, while Jenny was being denied tenior at M.I.T. (after all of her public brou-hah-hah), Steel Hawk descended on the place, bearing an ambush for Timothy Ferris. He forced the student to don his M.A.X. suit, 'Fast-Back', and proceeded to trick him into running right into a grenade he'd just launched, pretty much blowing him to bits in the process.

Meanwhile, Eduardo and Terry went looking for Andy, as he didn't show up with them to go to a football game, as planned. They found him in a local wood, practicing with his M.A.X. thingermabob, the 'Beam-Splitter', and found out he wasn't willing to give up his super technology like the others were. And then, Steel Hawk struck again.

He forced the three Troubleshooters into battling him with their M.A.X. suits, as he felt it a matter of pride that he defeat them in such a state. After taking a bit of a pounding, Steel Hawk managed to get his hands on Andy, and used his own Beam-Splitter to blast a hole in his chest, killing him instantly. After this, Steel Hawk fled, waiting to kill the others at his leisure.

Oh, and on top of all this, Jenny got herself kidnapped.
