Origin
The Sphinx has the haunches of a lion, the wings of a great bird, and the face of a woman.
It is know to answer riddles and kill and eat those who cannot answer.

Not to be confused with the Egyptian Sphinx, Sphinx is a creature of Greek myth who lives on Paradise Island along with other mythical creatures, such as Pegasus and Chiron. She is a lover of knowledge and enjoys asking riddles. She seems to have a friendship with Wonder Woman and on occasion acts as an adviser, though most of her advice is in the form of questions. During the Sins of Youth, she was de-aged into a child by Klarion the Witch Boy and entertained a de-aged Plastic Man with her jokes and riddles. She was later restored to her original age.
Powers
Sphinx has the physical abilities of a lion (strength, agility, speed, and claws) and can fly via her wings.
