A simple tale of bureaucracy, fantasy, Alan Moore's dry British humor and sight gags but a poor story for the uninitiated or one looking to understand the plot as a whole. Smax is reluctant to take a doomed and heart-wrenching task to either be killed by a dragon or have his future destroyed by his past. A book for Alan Moore fans, its inside-jokes are great and is a classy backhand on traditional Barbarian epic stories. ...
