    In "Raptor", Chole has been going over some of the odd events occurring in Smallville. Meanwhile, a boy named Greg Fox sets an explosive to Lex's digging site only to be caught in the blast. Due to a piece of Kryptonite present at the site, he starts to mutate into a raptor.

    In "Exile and The Kingdom" Lex is told by Lionel to fire some employees from the productive spot of the fertilzer factory. After a visit to Dr. Hamilton, Lex goes to discuss the situation with Clark. He then decides then to stand by his employees.

    I am a huge fan of the Smallville television series and was very excited to read this oversized comic based on the series. The comic basically takes place near the end of the first season with two separate stories. The first, “Raptor”, has the class of Smallville High go on a field trip to a paleological site where a kid named Greg Fox ends up getting caught in an explosion, getting in contact with meteor rocks (aka kryptonite), and turning into a dinosaur like creature.
