The battle between the Silver Surfer and the Uni-Lord rages on. It is shown to all the people who worship the Uni-Lord. Despite all his godly power, he seems unable to destroy the Surfer.

The Uni-Lord unleashes the souls of the Congregation of Finality in physical form to battle for him. The Surfer fights them all, but all the while looking for something. He soon finds what he is looking for, an Iridian. He knows that this is where Oclin must be and destroys him. This causes a chain reaction that destroys all of the members of the Congregation.

The Uni-Lord changes into a final form that even the Dark Counsel could not foresee. He uses everything in his arsenal to destroy the Surfer, cutting him apart, breaking him into millions of pieces. But the Surfer reforms.

The Uni-Lord realizes that he is weakening. He has forgotten the Surfer now has the power of a Blackbody, and is siphoning all the Uni-Lord's energy. The Surfer unleashes a blast of incredible energy. The Uni-Lord is now in fear and the Surfer calls all his souls to him. The power of the Uni-Lord now belongs to the Silver Surfer.
