    The Shadow Crusaders were a team compossed by the Hangman, Black Hood and the Jaguar, who deal with menaces and dangers in a more violent and extreme form. For their radical attitudes, their were in charge of missions with a high level of violence and less know to the public, to keep the Mighty Crusaders in good terms with the public opinion.

    The team debuted in Mighty Crusaders #3, where the team had to infiltrate a Durlans headquarters so that they could rescue Director Jack Latham.
