The news Sentinels are piloted by humans and the newest recruits have been put through the wringer. Their first mission was a catastrophe, as a routine assignment to guard a senator went terribly awry when a Hydra assassin revealed himself, along with a surprise secret weapon. After a long battle, the entire surrounding city was devasted, while the fledgling squad was unable to work as a team. One member, Alexander Lexington, a closeted mutant, was able to save the day, but not before raising suspicion about his powers, and not before another memer of the squad paid a permanent price.
