Overview In an alternate history of the American frontier, Measure Miller has left his brother Alvin behind with the Shaw-Nee leader Ta-Kumsaw so that he can set the people of Wobbish straight before a brewing war between the Red Man and the White Man comes to be. On his way back, Measure runs into a detachment of soldiers from Carthage City who capture him and reveal a stunning secret: Governor William Henry Harrison orchestrated the kidnapping of himself and his brother in an attempt to stir things up. In the meantime, Alvin is still traveling with Ta-Kumsaw, oblivious to the fact that his family believes him kidnapped and killed by the local tribes. Can Alvin and Measure do their part to prevent the war from occurring… or are they pawns in a bigger game being played by the Unmaker?
