History

Early Life

Ray is Gambit and Rogue's other child, and Olivier's sister; not much is known of her life after the death of her mother, and before her reuniting with her brother and his friends in India.

As a child she and her brother along with the summers-Frost children were captured by Mr. Sinister. She showed much level headed-ness and leadership ability in the face of certain danger. After they were rescued and her mother apparently died a rift grew in her family. She remained at her fathers side still and is the only means of communication between her brother Oli and Father Gambit.

Also of note is her love for music, particularly that of the Jazz variety. Since her capture ordeal she has retained close ties with the Frost-Summers children.

Joining Genext

She aids GeNEXT in their battle with the Goddess Kalima and reunites her family as she gets gambit and oli back on talking terms. She later decides to stay at Xaviers with GeNEXT with her fathers blessings.

Powers and abilities

Becka is a mutant, with the mutant powers inherited from her father Gambit, Her notable abilities include:

• Molecular Acceleration: An inherited power from her father Gambit, Becka has the power to take the potential energy stored in an object and convert it to kinetic energy thus “charging” that item with explosive results.
  • Dissolution: Becka can also cause objects to pull themselves apart instead of exploding violently making them harmlessly melt down to nothing.
  • Enhanced Conditions: Becka's ability to tap energy also allows her to increase her physical conditions such as speed, strength, agility, durability and even flight.
  • Vibration Emission: As a side-effect of her powers, Becka can generate shock-waves that can push targets over, repulsed them away, even cause earthquakes by shaking the ground.
• Hypnotic Charm: Becka can easily influence over any sentient mind though enhanced vocal persuasion. This power allows Becka to compel others to believe what he says and agree with anything he suggests.
• Kinetic-Force Charges: In moments of emotional duress, Becka can use her powers to affect organic molecules, including living beings, and could exert her kinetic powers over a distance. Initially, this resulted in an unstable kinetic field that accidentally charged objects in her vicinity
