Rath is an ancient Celtic vampire who spent some years living in a cave. A Celtic man knew of his whereabouts and gave them to Sakkara who then sought him out. She desired immortality for vengeance and he desired a soldier. She became a creature of unimaginable power and often he tried to persuade her to work with him or tested her true limits. Though they were sometimes allies, they were sometimes bitter enemies as well.
During the events of
The Crucible a Valkyrie relates how, sometime after the birth of Christ and she was young, her family were expelled from their village as witches when her mother gave birth to a deformed baby brother. The brother was named Rath and she believed him dead following an attack by thieves.
