    Young Prince Valiant, son of the exiled King of Scandia, seeks to join the Knights of the Round Table in order to restore his father to his own kingship. He travels to Camelot and and on his journey he uncovers a plot against King Arthur and is tutored by Sir Gawaine, a friend of his father. To prevent the coup d'etat against Arthur, he must uncover the true identity of the Black Knight.
