    Considered the most important work of Carlos Giménez. The first two issues were published in 1977. Giménez added four more between 1997 and 2003. As of 2016, he resumed the series coinciding with its 40th anniversary.

    "Paracuellos" is a rough yet tender chronicle of the life in an orphanage after the spanish civil war. Carlos Gimenez gets inspiration from his own life as he describes the difficulties of those times through the eyes of the children. The first two issues were published in 1977. Gimenez finished the remaining four between 1997 and 2003. The whole volume has been re-published by Glenat and DeBolsillo recently.
