    Origin

    Overload appeared in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Movie. Overload's alt-mode is an Articulated Dump. He is one of the Decepticons know as Constructicons and forms the lower torso and waist of the Combiner Devastator.

    Creation

    Overload was created for the 2009 Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Movie. He is based on the original Contructicon Long Haul (who was only in some Toy versions of Devastator and did not appear as a Construcitcon in the Movie). He was created due to Long Haul being used a as a different character in the first film.

    Overload makes an appearance with the other Constructicons in the prequel comic.

    Powers & Weaknesses

    Overload in vehicle mode can carry up to 90 tons for 1200 miles. He also has a dual-heat seeking missile launcher. In robot mode he carries a laser pistol. He combines with the other Constructicons to create the Torso of Devastator. Long Haul is slow and occasionally ineffective. To prove his worth he will attempt fights that he is outmatched.

    During the battle in Egypt between the Autobots and The Fallen's Decepticons, Overload arrived in a quarry with the other Constructicons before merging into Devastator to attack former Sector Seven agent Seymour Simmons, Leo Spitz, Skids and Mudflap. As Devastator smashed away at the Great Pyramid of Giza Simmons called upon the United States Navy to fire upon the giant Decepticon. The U.S.S. Kidd fired her experimental rail gun, smashing one of his arms to pieces and destroying Devastator.
