Origin
After werewolves and vampires has made their presence known to humans, other magical species, such as golems and fairies came out of hiding. Onyx works as a bartender at Papa Gamboli's The Carnival, a club where recently discovered magical species were put on display in a nightclub atmosphere. He gives hot stone massages to lonely Los Angeles housewives.
Major Story Arcs
To effectively kill vampires, Angela, Naomi and Onyx travel to Japan to seek help of an April, a fire-wielding medium. She advises them to kill one of the four first vampires: Dracula, Bathory, Vlad or Orlock. The April tells them that if one of them dies, their whole bloodline dies. Fleeing Japan, Onyx protects Naomi, Angela and the April by staying behind on the runway, warding off the Yakuza. Presumably he was killed by them.
