    Oliver Frey (June 30, 1948 - August 21, 2022) born in Zurich, Switzerland. Frey moved to Britain in the 1970s and illustrated many classic British comics, including - War Picture Library, Trigan Empire (for Look and Learn), Dan Dare (for the relaunched Eagle in the 1980s) and the Terminal Man for Newsfield Publications computer magazines (also the 1980s).

    Between 1984–1994 Frey contributed literally hundreds of cover images and interior art for Newsfield's magazines, principally CRASH and ZZAP!64. His cult comic strip The Terminal Man was republished as a paperback in September 2012, available from Amazon.
