Night Raven - S3 High Altitude Attack and Reconnaissance Aircraft.

    Short summary describing this thing.

A high-flying supersonic spy-plane of the COBRA. Developed by M.A.R.S. Industries. Has advanced defense systems and also holds the record of the fastest aircraft in the G.I. Joe comics line.

The Cobra Night Raven is a beautiful sight to observe, as long as it's not attacking you. Everything about this aircraft is pure aerodynamic perfection, from it's sleek surfaces to its powerful engines. It takes a specially surgically altered pilot to fly it, in order for them to survive the high speeds and G-Forces that pound the body, but there are COBRA jet jockeys lined up for just those operations. An expensive machine to maintain and produce, COBRA tends to leave these in the hangars until just that special mission comes along. The Night Raven is capable of taking high-altitude videos and photos, transmitting them back to base and slipping away unseen by even the most sophisticated surveillance equipment.

The Night Raven weighs in at 80 tons and has a fully loaded cruising speed of 2,189 MPH (Mach 3.3 at 86,000 feet); 2,310 MPH (Mach 3.5 Short Sprint Capability) with a range of 3,250 miles. It is armed with 2 x 30mm chain guns with 900 rounds each. It also utilizes eight internal rotary launcher-based short-range air-to-air missiles.
