The members of the Doom Patrol begin a session testing the upper limits of their abilities. Larry hopes to find out if 60 seconds is really the longest amount of time he can send out his Negative Man counterpart...but he runs into a big problem when the experiment goes awry and the Negative Man flies over a broadcasting tower that is sending out the strongest radio transmission known to man. This disrupts the Negative Man's radio-energy body and causes him to go berserk!
Negative Man goes haywire after a special scientific experiment involving sending powerful EM waves into space interferes with his connection to Larry Trainor. It's up to the other three members of the Doom Patrol to stop his rampage and return him back to Larry's body.
