    Appears in flashbacks in the Fairest story Aldered States. A fishmonger who tries to woo Princess Alder. Unfortunately, her plant-based perspective turns his seemingly romantic gesture on its head: When he brings her roses, she points out that dead flowers have all the sentimentality of a person handing over the corpses of her distant relatives.
