Origin
Reed Storm and his brother Ben piloted a space ship together to explore the cosmos. The rocket crashed and they survived, but the radiation they were exposed to altered their bodies. In Reed's case, he was granted the powers of invisibility, force fields, and elasticity, and dubbed himself Mister Invisible. Ben was altered as well, becoming Hot Rocks, and both siblings formed the Fantastic Two.
One day, the two discovered a gaping hole in Manhattan that swallowed the Baxter Bank and explored it underground. Wrapping around Ben with his body to stay hidden, they soon discovered it was the work of Master Mole and his Sentinoids. Ben's anger got the better of him and while he leapt to fight the robots, Reed snuck into the central one's core and managed to deduce that they needed Master Mold's staff to win. From that, Ben absconded with Master Mole's staff and the two gained control of the robots for themselves.
When Soldier Supreme suspected that his friend Iron Hammer had betrayed the superhero community, he called upon multiple heroes for help. Reed and Ben were busy at the time of the call fighting Cameron Belasco, but in their pun-filled manner of speaking said they would be there to aid him.
Powers and Abilities
Reed stretching to fight crime with his brotherAs a warp of Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, Mister Invisible possesses both elasticity and invisibility. He can stretch great distances, making him suited to sneak about without detection or restrain foes. His invisibility aids in this and helps him project force field constructions whenever he requires.
On his own, Reed is a formidable opponent, but when he works with his literally hotheaded brother, they are hard to beat.
