Origin
Mary Morgan was a reporter for the Daily Bugle during the 40s. She often worked alongside Jeff Mace and became his confidant when he decided to become the Patriot. She harbored a strong attraction to Mace, something he never noticed. Mary was captured and given super-hearing. She decided to become Jeff's partner, Miss Patriot. Jeff, however, was suspicious that Mary set up her kidnapping and empowering herself. She continued to work at the Daily Bugle and operate as Miss Patriot even after Mace joined the Liberty Legion and eventually the All-Winners Squad as Captain America.
Creation
Miss Patriot was created by Syd Shores. She made her first appearance in Human Torch #3.
