    Creators

Mickey Finn was a newspaper comic strip by Frank “Lank” Leonard that first appeared in 1936 in the Sunday papers, it was a low key comedy / drama that mostly focused on the domestic life of its star Mickey Finn and Irish American stereotypes. Later one of the other characters, Mickey’s Uncle Phil, became a break-out character with him being the main focus while Finn became a secondary character in his own strip until it ended in 1976.

All the Sunday strips were reprinted in comics book form first at Quality comics until he was pushed out by Dollman, and then at Columbia in Big Shot Comics and for a short while his own comic.
