    History

    Mercury Mercenary's past is unknown even to himself. His memories only extend back a few years, when he awoke upon the battlefield of a South American conflict, the apparent victim of a lightning strike. Discovering that he had suddenly gained miraculous powers, he donned the uniform of the closest soldier and almost single-handedly won the conflict for the side he now represented.
     
    Since then, Merc has sold his services to the highest bidders around the globe, making himself a small fortune in the process. His allegiance to the Crushers only extends as far as his rivalry with Enforcer.

    Powers and Abilities

    Mercury Mercenary can run at super speeds. When combined with his expertise in military weaponry, he is a dangerous opponent. He is usually armed to the teeth, with an automatic rifle, pistol, and several hand grenades being his favored weapons. He is particularly fond of using his super speed to run behind an opponent, set a grenade at their feet, and then run away before the grenade explodes.
