    Former heavyweight boxing contender, after retiring from the ring he returned to New York City where he opened a dojo with his friend and colleague King Lau. He and King provided moral support to Elektra as well as helping with her training. He eventually became romantically involved with Elektra but his close relation with her made him a target of the Hand. When last seen he was in a coma due to injuries sustained battling the Hand.
