At the Mercy of M.O.D.O.K.! Also, what man can stand against the KINGPIN OF CRIME?
In the first story, an armored car company is moving a lot of "Roz-Kirbanium." Spidey stands on top of the car to ward off attackers. However when M.O.D.O.K. attacks, Spidey goes down quickly.
Meanwhile, Spiderman is stopping a car-jacker? How?
Spidey runs off to the M.O.D.O.K. fight, where the guards are trying to protect Spidey's unconscious body. It turns out that the company just hired a look-alike to keep people away.
Spidey has a tough time fighting the powerful villain. Luckily he gets distracted by the look-alike, and Pete manages to get close and rip off his power crystal, rendering him harmless.
In the second story, Spidey sees a bunch of pigeons flying by with money in their beaks. He goes back to their source and sees that they're robbing an armored car. He asks Chat to ask the pigeons what's going on, and she says they're under someone's control.
He follows the pigeons again and finds the Puppet Master. He has the birds attack Pete and escapes. Then he controls the people in the street below and has them attack Spidey too. Pete jumps out of the way, and follows the police, who have the remainder of the money are are also under the Puppet Master's control. They lead him back to the Puppet Master. Pete smooshes his clay dolls and catches him.
