    Aside from her 1960s romance comic inspired series and a few other examples here and there in her publication history, Lois Lane has mostly stayed as a supporting character in Superman stories. This series however shows what a mistake it has been to keep the character underdeveloped for so long. In the right hands there are evidently a lot of stories worthy of DC Comics' main journalist - between real world and in continuity - and this series proves that to be the case in its first issue.
