    If you want to feast your eyes on pen illustrations of Classical Rome, this book will be a treat for you! Gilles Chaillet stands in for Jacques Martin in this book that is not a narrative, but a kind of guidebook that is intended to pique the reader's interest in the architecture of ancient Rome. He skillfully fleshes out the world capital in ways that will have you begging for more (fortunately, there is a second volume!)
