The Iznogoud volume was originally called "Les Aventures du Calife Haroun el Poussah" although nowadays, virtually everybody refers to it simply as the "Iznogoud" series. It started to be oficially called "Les Aventures du Grand Vizir Iznogoud" since issue #9, in 1973.

It was published by Dargaud from 1966 until 1976 (issue #12).

Issue #13 was published by BD'Star, a publisher founded by artist Jean Tabary and Francis Slomka.

Issue #15 was published by Glenat, a catalan publisher.

In 1979, BD'Star changes its name to Editions de la Seguiniere(#14 and #16 to #19). Since 1981 the publisher is finally called Editions Tabary (#20 to #28).

    Collected in Iznogoud Intégrale.
