The Justice League puts the Green Arrow on trial! Is the Green Arrow working for their foes? Batman, Superman, and Snapper Carr will be the judges of that.

Green Arrow has only just joined the JLA - but now he stands accused of betraying the team! In the midst of a fight with Captain Cold, Professor Menace and Clock King, the Emerald Archer fires three arrows which lead to an explosion of light - stunning Flash and Wonder Woman, while he and the three villains disappear.

Not satisfied with one seeming act of betrayal, GA then appears to join Green Lantern, Aquaman and the Martian Manhunter as they encounter the Puppet Master, Monty Moran and the Electric Man - only to repeat his previous trick and disappear with the villains.

Has Green Arrow changed sides or is there more to this tail than meets the eye? Gardner Fox crafts a story with an underlying moral: Don't judge someone's actions without seeing things from their perspective - you may not have all the facts and things might not be what they seem.
