    Major Story Arcs

    Birth Right

After Mardon is informed of his son's existence by Blacksmith, he travels to Jackam's funeral to take the boy and figure out how he has inherited his weather manipulation powers. Josh is protected by Linda Park, but ultimately falls into Mardon's hands. Mardon is defeated after he finds himself unable to harm Josh, and Josh is given to his grandmother to be cared for.

    Final Crisis

During the Final Crisis, Josh is kidnapped by Libra, who holds the boy as ransom to force Mardon and the Rogues to join his Secret Society of Super Villains. In the subsequent standoff between Libra and the Rogues, Josh is killed by Inertia.

    Powers and Abilities

Josh has the ability to control weather. As he is an infant, his effect on the weather is primarily random and generated when he is emotionally upset, generally in the form of lightning. His powers only manifest when he is near his father. Correspondingly, when they are in proximity he enhances his father's powers.
