    Jonah Vogelbaum was a Jewish scientist living in Germany who's family were supposed to go to the states to get away from the war. After a mix-up however, they died in the camps.
     
    After a life-time of trial and error, Jonah created " Compound V". The serum that gives people super-powers, and in a way, he is responsible for "The Seven".  
     
    Jonah worked for Vought for quite some time until under enormous pressure, he killed himself.
