    Everything looked lost but with Batman still fighting the JLA had a chance. Superman realizes he is being mind controlled and fights back. Martian Manhunter reveals that he has been under disguise and attacks Primaid. While doing so he releases the rest of the JLA and a fight between the JLA and the White Martians begins and ends. It is then left to the Martian Manhunter to sentence the White Martians to life out their lives (unknowingly) as humans, trapped in their own minds.

      After Batman bitch slapped three Martians in issue 3 Protex begins to lose his cool. Allowing time for Superman to think. He puts all the clues together and discovers their secret. Lighting Protex on fire with his heat vision, Superman escapes, and together with the rest of the JLA, they battle the White Martians knowing what they are up against.  So here Morrison brings our heroes together as a team, and he proves worthy enough to write them as such.
