James-005 fought beside Master Chief at the battle of Sigma Octanus IV, wherein he became the first SPARTAN II to be critically wounded in combat after having lost his left arm while engaging a pair of Hunters.
Powers & Abilities
Like the rest of the SPARTAN II's, he has undergone an extensive augmentation process that enhances strength and senses. He is geared with the Mjolnir Mark IV Power Armor and wields (or is believed to have wielded) an MA5B Assault Rifle. It is uncertain what kind of prosthetic he may have chosen to replace his left arm,so it could either be artificial/robotic or flash-cloned.
He is well revered for his calm demeanor, persistence and perseverance even under the most extreme situations.
